THE LIFE OF ERWIN SCHRÖDINGER By: Dakota & Michaela
Erwin Schrödinger was born August 12, 1887in Vienna Austria-Hungary. EARLY YEARS
SCHRÖDINGER In 1926 an Austrian Physicist Erwin Schrödinger created a new model for the hydrogen atom his theory seemed to apply equally well an area in which bhors model failed.
Schrödinger was known for his development of a number fundamental, which started the quantum theory. THE EQUATION
QUANTUM THEORY
SCHRÖDINGER’S ACHIEVMENTS Schrödinger equation, which he formed in 1926 to describe the quantum state of a system, is an achievement at a more technical level. It is celebrated as one of the most important achievements in 20th Century physics and earned Schrödinger A Nobel Prize in Physics In 1933.
Schrödinger found time for an extensive correspondence with his personal friend Albert Einstien and, as a result, he proposed in 1935 what has become known as the “Schrödinger's cat.

MIDDLE YEARS In 1940, he accepted an invitation to help establish an Institute for Advanced Studies in Dublin, Ireland, and he became the Director of the School for Theoretical Physics there. He remained in Dublin until his retirement in 1955, during which time he became a naturalized Irish citizen.
