Meet Susie o A 21 year old Stanford student-athlete o Member of the Women’s Crew team o Lives a busy lifestyle balancing academics, athletics, sorority, friends, and family o Loves to hangout with friends on the weekend finding new restaurants and things to do around the Bay Area

Behind the Scenes Augmented Reality Photochromic glass GPS Smart phone application Window temperature sensing

The iCar App : This app allows Susie to remotely access all features of her car. Also notifies her about unforeseen irregularities in her car. iCar

Projected Dashboard: Always displays the speedometer, gas miles, outside temperature, coins, and blind spot notifiers Susie don't merge! There is a car in your right blind spot!

GPS: Virtually projects the desired route on the windshield as needed by Susie. Shows her next move in top left corner and ETA bottom right. Highlights road Identifies important places

NearMe: Allows the car to serve as a helpful guide to Susie, notifying her of store discounts, movie times, bus/train times, and much more. The voice control allows her to purchase tickets and make reservations on the fly, which are then sent to the iCar app.

Video Game: Susie can collect coins by driving the speed limit, stopping at stop signs or adhering to other street laws. She can keep track of points in iCar app and receive prizes based on score. Total score also sent to insurance company. Good score = lower monthly pay!

Temperature setting: Susie can set the interior temperature of her car to fit her needs for whenever she plans on accessing her car. Her car will also be able to detect ice on its windshield and begin defrosting to prepare for her arrival.

Tints according to where the sunlight is coming from and how strong the light is. Photochromic Windows: Tints the window on exposure to UV light and darkens the glass according to how strong the light source is. Parts of the windows are tinted according to where the light is coming from and when no direct light source is present the windows remain in their clear state.

Music: Voice activated radio station controller. Makes playlists for Susie based on certain songs she likes. Displays name and artist of a song if asked, and sends information to iCar app.

Phone: Windshield synched with phone. I con pops up with caller id of incoming calls. Susie can answer calls, listen to text messages, and verbally respond through voice activated system.

Camera and video: Susie can take pictures and videos while driving by pushing a button on steering wheel. Photos and videos are utomatically sent and stored in the iCar app. Great for taking beautiful photos, documenting car accidents, and locating stolen cars. Camera/ video button

News: Susie can listen to the news as she drives to practice. When the car is turned on and in park, a list of the day's top headlines displays on the windshield. News stations and subcategories can be pre-selected on the iCar app.

Coffee Maker: By moving many of the features previously located at the front of the car onto the actual window display, allows room for a coffee maker. By simply grabbing a coffee packet out of the center console, Susie can make coffee in a matter of minutes on her way home from practice or on her way to class.
