Sydney, Natalie, Mark, James.

Ben is a methodical and evil young man who has lived through a distressed childhood, witnessing his own father murder his mother. Duncan is a detective extraordinaire with lung cancer. Duncan is encouraged by his boss to retire due to his illness but Duncan has other ideas. When he comes across unavoidable evidence of a murder left by young Ben he can’t help but try to solve it…

 Our unique selling point is that this movie will end with a cliff-hanger which will leave the audience wanting to see what happens next when the killer is caught. There will be another movie made following on from it.

 3 Act Structure;  Equilibrium: Killing happens at the opening of the scene. So there is disruption right at the start of the movie. Scene of Duncan after of him at a table with his police chief telling him to retire because of his lung cancer. He doesn’t want to since he has nothing much to live for outside his job.  Disruption: Duncan Finds body while walking on the seafront, he sees someone with very distinctive looks in the distance but he ignores it. He calls the police he asks whether he can carry out this investigation but his ex-boss tells him he cannot because of his medical condition. After a day he goes to a café and while drinking his tea and reading his newspaper he realises that there is someone strange giving him looks at the café, then he realises it’s the same distinctive person he saw in the distance on the beach that he ignored after he found the body. The strange man starts running Duncan runs after him after a chase he can’t keep up because of his illness and stops and coughs up blood after that he gets his so called “Shit” together and starts running after him again after a while he corners him and asks him questions but he finds out that he is just a thief who stole a tenner from someone’s pocket at the café and thought that Duncan realised.  New Equilibrium: Clues lead him to the killer called Ben and he catches him. Ben tells him that there are other killers out there they have a whole community and they all turn their selves in when they reach a certain hierarchy and age in the “killer community”.

 Props; Blunt knife, Fake blood, Wire, Stick, Tea cups, Chairs.  Costume; Trench coat and Suit for the detective and jeans and a top with blood splattered for the killer.  Location; Brighton seafront – Under the new pier.

 Seven was our influence because the killer wanted to get caught.  Ryan Gosling in Drive inspired us because he was so relaxed and laid back and so is out murderer.

 We will market it through adverts that will pop up at the side of social media (twitter&facebook)  On the side of buss stops we will have posters.  In the cinema before films start we will show our advert.  Bill boards.  Posters outside cinemas.
