In today's economy is widely used credit relationships. Therefore, credit - the banking system - one of the most important and indispensable structures of a market economy. Development banks, commodity production and circulation were parallel and closely intertwined. The banks, carrying out cash payments, crediting the economy, acting as intermediaries in the redistribution of capital, significantly increase the overall efficiency of production, promote the growth of labor productivity.

Credit system - an economic category, which expresses the relationships that are manifested in the fact that the various economic organizations or individuals who send each other money for temporary use on condition of repayment, maturity and interest payment. Banking system - is an area of ​​ diverse services to its customers - from the traditional deposit-loan and Cash transactions, determining the basis of banking, to the new forms of monetary and financial instruments used by banking institutions (leasing, factoring, trust, etc.).

The credit system in the broadest sense is a combination of banking and other lending institutions, legal forms of organization and methods of credit transactions..

I. Banking system 1. Issuing Banks; a) The national bank of issue; b) The regional banks of issue. 2. Not issuing banks; a) Commercial Banks; b) Specialized banks: investment, innovation, accounting, mortgage, consumer credit, the ship- savings.

The elements of credit and banking system form a unity, express the specificity of the whole and serve media properties. The elements of credit and banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan are: - Banks; - Certain special-bank financial institutions that perform banking transactions, but do not have the status of the bank; - Additional agencies that make up the banking infrastructure and ensuring the vital activity of credit institutions.
