Stage 3: Online Procurement Online procurement TRANSPARENCY In order to ensure transparency in public bids, persons interested in participating, as well as civil society in general, may access information on the process. Government can procure products and services at better prices and reduce the time needed for the procurement process, while cutting costs, streamliing decisions, and obtaining added value. The electronic procurement process also furthers equal opportunities by increasing the pool of State suppliers, which, in turn, fosters competitiveness and job creation.
