Artifacts Standards Identified and Self Reflection

Technology Autobiography Standard Met: Course Objective #6 (ISTE 11) Reflection: Writing the technology autobiography helped me to reflect back on my technology experiences and see my personal growth in technology.

Three Word Documents, Spreadsheet & Graph, & Graphic Documents Standards Met: Course Objective #3 (ISTE 1,4,5,9,12) & #6 (ISTE 11) Reflection: Creating these documents allowed me to learn more about Word, Excel, Publisher, and Inspiration and a variety of ways to use the applications. I also was able to look at some very good resources that helped with the applications. The documents I created can be used in my classroom.

Web Site Standards Met: Course Objective: #3 (ISTE 1,4,5,9,12) & #5 (ISTE 10) Reflection: I had already made a classroom web page, so for the web site assignment I created an online portfolio and integrated my classroom website into the portfolio. Creating on online portfolio allowed me to become more familiar with Dreamweaver and FTP. I now feel much more comfortable with both programs.

Equity, Ethics, and Legal Issues WebQuest Standards Met: Course Objective # 5 (ISTE 10) Reflection: For the WebQuest I answered and researched the questions and evaluated the LCPS Internet Use Policy, the assignment was very informative for me. It allowed me to look at the inequitable uses of technology, research copyright issues and the netiquette of electronic communication. I also took a very close look at the LCPS Internet policy and critique the policy,

Integrated Computer-Using Curriculum Unit Standards Met: Course Objective #1(ISTE 2,7), #2(ISTE 2,6), & #4(ISTE 3,8,10) Reflection: I created a integrated computer using unit of the respiratory unit. My goal was for students to use technology to learn the structure and function of the respiratory system, and also to research and communicate the aspects of a disease that affects the respiratory system.
