Objectives of Finance Ministry Clear and open communications on financial health of the church Accountable Understand fiduciary duty to members Support all ministry areas Assist in planning for future

Duties of Finance Ministry Count and deposit weekly contribution Pay the bills Make journal entries to document transactions Prepare financial statements and present at monthly meetings Prepare annual budget with input from deacons and elders Plan for future

Members Involved Tim Steele – Corporate Treasurer Bob Burd and Bob Messer – sign checks, review financial reports, ask questions Rosea Elliott – counts weekly contribution, inputs accounting entries into software, fills out checks, aggregates receipts/invoices Nathan Bochmann – monitors bank accounts prepares financial stmts, present at monthly mtg Junior Morgan – counts weekly contribution Royce Hammitt – can sign checks in case Bob & Bob are gone

What I Have Learned? Totally invested in this walk with Jesus. Jesus does not want a commitment that only expects blessings. He wants a person that considers what expectations he (Jesus) has for his followers.
