 Before I research this topic and learned about it in class I never knew the significance difference in pay between males and females.  This research really opened my eyes to the real world applications of gender relations. Reflection page

 This article showed explained the difference in 2011 gender pay gaps.  This graph was made to show the normal median weekly averages against women's earnings as percentage of men New York Times Article Catherine Rampell, 2011

 This article discussed how the income gaps in further education and more respectable income groups still discriminate against females in different pay for doing the same job. Women's Earnings and Income Catalyst Inc. 2012

 In 2011 BBC new released an article that showed in current times the gender pay gap is still becoming wider every year. Then discussed how certain people are trying to close the gap so equality can be achieved. Gender pay gap widens to £10,500 for managers, CMI says BBC NEWS, 2011

 This article also confirms that the gap is still present for women who seek high degrees. In 2009 women in higher degrees only made 75% of what males. This article finishes with a request from all community's to become more flexibility with women in the work force. More women go to college, but wage gap remains Ruth Mantell, 2011

 This article by Fitzpatrick takes a critical approach and tries to investigate if the gap in pay still remains in current date.  Concluding this article it finds that on average men do earn more that women in most jobs and careers.  Depending on where you live and where you work the gap will differ.
