My Community Service Working Around The Clock By: Clarence Moment Jr.

Community Service  The reasons why i like community service  community service acts that i was involved in  breakdown of each event

Why I like Community Service  I like helping people  I feel good when other people are happy  Its fun  It gives me something to do

Thing That I Helped Out With  Car wash for American Heart Association  Blood Donation  Christmas show for the kids in YDC  Helping out the local nursing home  Playing in the Kappa Delta flag football tournament

The Car Wash  The car washes that I attended were pretty fun.  They were located at waffle house, and sonny’s barbeque  At first I thought that I would get tired of doing it, but I met a lot of people that I did not know there.

Time To Donate Blood  It was time to donate some blood.  I was never nervous  I thought that it would not hurt at all. I was wrong.  It was a hard walk back to the bus stop.

The Red Cross  Every two seconds someone in America needs blood.  The American Red Cross serves over 3,000 hospitals around the United States.  Donating blood saves lives every day.

Christmas Show at the YDC  This Christmas our church went to our local YDC to give them a step show and a Christmas program.  We gave them gifts and sung them songs.  A lot of the little children were scared, but they saw that they were people just like everyone else.

The Nursing Home  The Christmas fun didn’t stop at YDC.  We went to the local nursing home to give to them also.  We let them play bingo, and gave them gifts that they could use on a daily basis.

Memories  The nursing home brought back many memories.

Moss Them  I did more community service by playing in the flag football tournament.  It was held by the Kappa Deltas.  I did not understand some people  It was all fun, and I learned that one can not be good without practice.

Future Plans  In the future I plan to do a lot of community service.  I have found out that community service if not always boring.  It is fun, but sometimes it is uncomfortable.  I plan to do community service without complaining.  I will work around the clock to get the job done.
