Differences The Colegio Nacional is different because every year 1200 kids try to enroll but only 400 gain admission. It is still considered a free school and public school.
Similarities One similarity between Colegio Nacional and American schools is that they’re public. Anybody can go to the school if they want to.
Changes I think that East Lansing High School should make it so only dedicated students can attend. That way more attention could be paid to smarter kids. Also, the classes would all be at a relative progress level.
Pros More time could be spent with the more dedicated students There wouldn’t be as much clogging in the hallways. The building would not have to be remodeled to account for more students
Cons Not every student would be able to receive an equal education Less students would be able to receive a higher education There wouldn’t be as much as a variance in personalities or not as much individualism
