Topic Does Childhood Obesity Track into adulthood? Why I choice this topic because I believe that childhood obesity is a disease. It is sad to me to see a lot of over weight kids. Children need to be physical and eat healthy so they can live a healthy adulthood.

 1 out of 3 people in the US are obese.  17 percent of adolescents ( 2-19) are obese.  Childhood Obesity has tripled in the last 30 year.

 When you are morbidly obese your BMI id over 40 points from normal.  In the last 30 years obesity in children has tripled.

 In 2000 Americans consumed on a average 57 pounds more meat per capita than annually in the 1950’s.  Obesity can be genetic disorder.  Obesity has a lot to do with influences one has and there self esteem.

 I had some issues finding different information. I was coming across some of the same information.  I received passed continuous on my paper the first time.

 I passed my junior paper.  I learned a lot about the body.  Made me more concerned about family and friends, and want to help them more.

For my project I taught a health and fitness class to children in second grade. When a child is about 7 or 8 and when a child starts to care about there body and how they look. So if fitness and being healthy is put into there mind at a young age then.

 I learned that I like working with kids.  I felt like this was a meaningful experience because I was able to relax and talk about something that was near and dear to my heart.

 I learned that I do not do well under pressure.  I feel like I could be good teacher.

Thank You for your time! Do you have any questions?
