 Obesity is a disorder that involves excessive amounts of body fat.

 Obesity is caused by inactivity, an unhealthy diet, bad eating habits, pregnancy, lack of sleep, certain medications, and medical problems.

 Some symptoms are breathlessness, increased sweating, low self-esteem, and an inability to cope with sudden physical activity.

 Exercise regularly  Eat healthier snacks and meals  Monitor weight regularly  Avoid unhealthy foods

 Setting goals  Lifestyle changes such as being more active and eating less calories  Weight loss surgery and medicine such as ephedra and herbal laxatives
