Let’s include everyone!

About us Telecentre-Europe is an inclusive and vibrant network that increases the impact and effectiveness of telecentres throughout Europe by fostering knowledge sharing and learning amongst its members.

Let’s include everyone! About telecentres Telecentres are publicly accessible places where people can get help to access technology that enable them to gather information, create, learn, and communicate with others.

Let’s include everyone! Vision At Telecentre-Europe we believe we can help create relevant and scalable approaches towards achieving e-Inclusion for the next 292 million Europeans – i.e. all of those who lack Basic ICT skills today.

Let’s include everyone! Membership 80 organisations in 53 nations, from every continental area across the world. The 33 European nations are represented on the Telecentre-Europe online community by around 50 local, regional and national telecentre networks, which between them include more than 25,000 telecentres.

Let’s include everyone! Services Knowledge sharing Advocacy Capacity building

Let’s include everyone! Get Online Day On 4 March 2010 Telecentre-Europe held the first ever European Get Online Day. More than 50,000 people were reached by the campaign on the day itself, in 42 European countries, and the online counter recorded a total number of 68,253 people during the whole of EC eSkills Week 2010.

Let’s include everyone! Annual telecentre summit October 2010 Budapest. The Telecentre-Europe Summit 2009 took place in October in Istanbul and was attended by 90 members of the network. The Summit continued the success of the Telecentre Leaders Forum, held in Riga in 2008 where the network was established.

Let’s include everyone! Employment toolkit Telecentre-Europe has facilitated a successful partnership between network member organizations that led to Key Competences for All. This project proposes to support enhancement of basic Key Competences of Low Qualified Adults in order to improve their Employability, by means of an alternative learning approach.

Let’s include everyone! Staff exchanges We aim at providing access both online and offline to knowledge- sharing. The exchange face-to-face visits highly contribute at better cooperation and interaction between member organizations. 15 staff exchanges were organized involving 25 organizations from 20 European countries.
