The Problem Polar bears are in danger of losing their habitat Their way of life Migration to warmer climates Climate change

The Claim We need way to keep polar bear population up but keep in mind the respects of each culture whom hunts these animals

Food Chain Control Keeps the food chain in the Arctic under control. Keeps populations of seals and fish down Keeps killer whale population down They leave carcass for other animals

The Indiginous People and the Polar Bear Respected by indigenous communities in the arctic Live in harmony with polar bear. Very few deaths

The Symbol of the Arctic For most of us when we think of the north pole we think of the polar bear It is also the symbol for coca cola

Health Population Healthy population at present Money is given when trophies are imported Helps fund conservation

Natural Reasons There are natural reasons we do not know of It is not always possible for us to save everything We are also wrong about what it “causing it” A study showed sea ice is increasing Studies have shown hybridization of grizzlies is related to population decrease

Darwinism Extinction is part of nature This follows Darwin’s Theory We should let nature run it’s course like the dinosaurs

Our Position Keep polar bear hunting down to the natives and watch how much fuel we are emitting.

The Solution Find and fix the problem creating polar bear population decrease. Look at the ecosystem they are in Cutting down on fuel emissions Watch for other signs from nature
