MICROMEGAS Main Goal Connect Electronics Boards to Readout Panels. Challenge 512 channels on a 220mm wide PCB Test Zebra® Connector. Elastrometric connector, with fine metal conductive element and Silicone insulation.

MICROMEGAS Connector must be compressed …

MICROMEGAS … So, specific profile has been designed. Readout panel Spacer Drift Electrode Panel Electonic Board Profile ZEBRA

MICROMEGAS Due to thin pitch, electronic boards must be well aligned (±0.2) above Readout Panels ! PCB Readout Panel A guide was positionned at both sides to make the insertion easier.

MICROMEGAS Samtec connectors, 3 utilities: 1.Ground connection 2.Guarantee alignment between PCB & Readout P. 3.Lock pcb in position (Keep ZEBRA compressed)
