Quick facts…. In the year 1972, the United States passed the clean water act due to the nation’s water purity. Its goal was to restore the nation’s chemical, biological and physical nature, that was so damaged due to pollution. The objective was by 1985, pollutants would be out of the water supply of all the nations rivers, streams and lakes. Every city was required to install treatment plant, and use the best technology available to limit the pollution that entered the water. Under these demands water quality began to improve, almost two decades later about a third of the nations water supply continued to be polluted.

Water follows the natural cycle, it moves from rain to mountain tops, and through streams. The united states changed it water cycles in many ways. It’s a vital source of both our body and the environment. It covers almost three quarters of the earth % human body matter It is a essential part of nearly everything we drink and eat. Drinking ample amounts of water has been tied to general good health. Water has the potential to be one of the most useful and cost efficient medical elements available.
