G.R.E.A.T IDEA By: Jack Brandes

The Problem For kids at Meigs, the car line can be a tough place. It is always so noisy with after-school chatter. It is so hard to hear, teachers use megaphones. Not even these could drown out the sound of hundreds of kids! Most kids don't even listen or look for their cars.

The Solution What we need is a loud way to make kids pay attention. My idea is that we could get a speaker system! We would put speakers on the front of the school, and have a person with a microphone who has a radio and calls out names or numbers. This will make the process easy and less stressful.

Funds The only problem with my plan is that we need money to buy the speakers! My idea is that we can have a school-wide bake sale to earn lots of money. The kids get treats and we get the money to but speakers! We might even give out rewards for people who bring a lot of baked goods. This will hopefully earn enough money.

The Turnout If things turn out we would get the speaker system, and get the car line running well. As I imagine it i think: Kids would come the 1st time Teachers won't have to yell Less faculty will be needed Less demerits will be given out Parents will be happy We will get everyone out faster I would be very excited if this idea went into action! It would make my school a G.R.E.A.T place!
