Sixth Grade AR Requirements

The purpose of the Accelerated Reader program is to give you class credit for pleasure reading! Always keep a book going! Read a little everyday for your own enjoyment...and earn class credit!

One (1) non-fiction book at least level 1 or higher

plus One (1) fiction, at least level 6 or higher

Select and read an AR book. (Double check the level!) Complete and pass the quiz Fill out a pink slip for Ms. Beverage. Start your next book! Complete all reading and quizzes before the deadline! For each quarter, 1 fiction + 1 non-fiction = √ * *Add another fiction book and quiz to advance to “+” !

All quizzes must be completed by the quarterly due date!

Find a book that interests you in the library, at the book fair, or in the book store. What’s your favorite genre? Who is your favorite author? What is your favorite topic or hobby?

Always keep a book going! Take a little time everyday to read something YOU want to read!
