Organizing Club Day 4 “Get ready for a busy, busy day!”

Agenda for the Week! O TODAY- Organizing Test, Picture Worksheet, Organizing Song & Dance, Organizing Time, Cr8iv Moment, Project Work time(if all other work is done! ) O THURSDAY- Organizing Time, Cr8iv Moment, and rest of class is Project time! O FRIDAY- Full time project time!

Corny Joke of the Day!!! What is the difference between a violin & a tuna fish??? You can tune a violin, but you can’t tun-a- fish!!!

Changes in the Project! O Some 8 th graders were complaining that they did not want to make a children’s storybook so… O There are now 2 other choices that you can pick from O Children’s storybook explaining how to organize O Teen/Children’s magazine about organizing O Organizing game board/game

Some Project Tips… O If you are doing a children’s storybook, you can maybe type out your story/how-to guide on Microsoft PowerPoint, and then print it out 1 slide to a page! O If you are doing the magazine, you can type it out on Publisher, or download a magazine template. Be sure to have advertisements relating to your magazine. They don’t put Abercrombie ads in fish magazines. O If you are doing the game-board, you can plan out your game, and then carry out your plan on a tri-fold.

On to the Test… O Please put up your test folders O This is only 20 questions long, so I’m only going to give you 20 minutes to finish it O I hope you studied really well for the test because some of these questions are really hard O I’m a fast grader… so you’ll probably have your personal grades and class averages by tomorrow O CHEAT & and you’ll be coughing up $20. O I’ve got eyes like a hawk! SHOUT OUT TO SICK PEOPLE: Test is NOT printable! Must be taken at school!!!

A Little Worksheet… O You are about to receive a little labeling worksheet O It’s not hard, it’s just a regular, homework, 2% of your grade-like type of thing O You’ll probably finish it in about 5 minutes or so O When you’re done, please put it in your CLASSWORK FILE O SICK LINK:

Organizing Song & Dance O “Can you not find your homework, was it here or there?” (slowly stand up) O “Getting into trouble is such a scare!” (snap fingers while standing up) O “If you had those filers it would be just nice!” (clap & snap while standing) O “Go to Wal-Mart and buy some for just the right price!” (tap on knees) O GET ORGANIZED(x3) (slowly sit down when song is coming to an end!) Lyrics printable:

Organizing Time! O Please get out your binders… O Start organizing wherever it is necessary O If you guys need help, you can ask me, or write it down on my ?Question? Sheet! O Enough chat… start organizing

Cr8iv Moment! O Our Cr8iv Moment today will only be 3 minutes due to time constraints O Please shut your eyelids now O You will get a detention if they are open right now. I have eyes, I can see you O Think of what you want to be when you grow up, any goals you would like to achieve along the long, bumpy road of adulthood!

PROJECT TIME! O You may start or continue working on your projects right now O If you need a laptop, you must consult me first, and THEN, if I say yes, you may proceed to the laptop cart to get a laptop O I will track you down(literally) if you leave your area a pigsty and NOT clean up!
