"Home of the Stars" DRIVER EDUCATION

INTRODUCTION 1. In this class you will have 30 Hours of classroom instruction, and 6 hours of driving. This means that we will be in the classroom for the 1 st.six weeks and driving for the rest of the semester. 2. First six weeks we will be covering the Tennessee Drivers Handbook.

3.You must have a Driver Ed. Folder that you bring to class. 4. In your folder you will be keeping, handouts, class work, etc. and your Driving Log. From this point on we want you to drive one hour a week at home with your parents or guardian.

REQUIREMENTS Maintain a Class Notebook Successfully Pass Chapter Test Successfully Pass Driving Skills Maintain a practice driving log Class Participation

Class Notebook – must contain class notes, safety articles (10), handouts, and practice driving log Chapter Test – test given at the end of each chapter Driving Skills – actual behind the wheel training with instructor

Practice Driving Log – maintain a driving record of time behind the wheel with supervised parental driving experience Class Participation – each student will be expected to attend class, pay attention in class, participate in each class discussions, successfully complete all requirements, successfully complete all requirements, and Cause No Disruptions in Class

Class Rules 1. BE ON TIME! 2. Respect others 3. Do your on work 4. Do not do work for another class 5. Don’t ask to go to your locker, BE PREPARED FOR CLASS! 6. Food & Drinks – if you make a mess you will cause your class to lose this privilege
