Programme achievements Established in 2005, the CCP has celebrated its 10th Anniversary last December. Now, it covers 22 countries around the globe. The total amount of Seizures made under CCP till 2015 is as follows: 101 Tons of Cocaine 2.9 Tons of Heroin 59.5 Tons of Cannabis 1274 Tons of Precursors. 160 Tons of Tramadol in West Africa in 2014 In addition to many seizures of counterfeits, CITES and Cigarettes.

Airport Communication Programme (AIRCOP) UNODC Interpol WCO Objective Disrupt the illegal networks that are disseminating drugs and other illicit products through smarter, more effective, well-connected, intelligence led counter- narcotic activities. AIRCOP

The Afghan Opiate trade project Analyze, improve knowledge-base and increase awareness on the global threat of Afghan Opiates trafficking on public health and security. The project also supports national and regional drug- related organizations in establishing/ enhancing their research, monitoring and reporting capacity. Research capacity building aims to increase availability of data for the main beneficiaries and stakeholders to design evidence based policies and strategies.

UNODC is providing ongoing assistance to Member States in research and data collection in the field of drug trafficking. Two research studies on Opiates trafficking being undertaken are: Main partner The Southern route Report; and Opiates in Africa report (To be published 2015).
