Funding Pre-16 Funding Similar to last year: The last 2 years has seen loss of funding at KS4 (Curriculum Pathways), including: Practical Learning monies, KS4 engagement, 14 – 19 Flexible Funding, Work Relates Learning and Young Apprenticeships 2011 - 12 last year of Diploma Funding and Local Delivery Support Grant Core DSG funding is protected – “flat cash” (against major cutbacks in other areas of service) Minimum Funding Guarantee remains at -1.5%

Funding Cont. New money in addition is Pupil Premium 2012 – 2013 = £600 for Free School Meals, £600 for LACs, £250 for Military schools. For more details regarding Core funding and Pupil Premium Contact KCC Finance Schools Budget Team Finance meetings are arranged for the 2nd week in March where the real technical issues will be discussed
