Note to 1st example Level B Public school: Employer and Employee Associations check the contents of the curriculum (if necessary, in cooperation with the Ministry), confirm compliance with the contents of the EU organisation, and in the case of a positive decision, grant the certificate to the inspected school/organisation. Private school: Employer and Employee Associations thoroughly check the contents; final examination before the examination panel would be desirable!!! They confirm compliance of the contents of the EU organisation and, in the case of a positive decision, grant the certificate to the inspected private school/organisation. Level C Contents of the examination are prescribed by Level C and must be checked by the Employer / Employee Associations and confirmed vis-à-vis the EU organisation. Certification: In the case of a positive decision, the certification is granted to the national organisation. Decorative certificate is to be delivered to the school graduates by the Employer/Employee Associations.

Note to 2nd example Level B: Contents determined by law and curriculum, job description, dual system of vocational education and training; vocational school & company Vocational school examination leads to final school examination. Final school results + examination before examination panel leads to certificate of apprenticeship. Contents are checked by Employer/Employee representation in the country. Level C: Contents prescribed by law; examination of students by the examination panel leads to the master craftsman´s examination (Level C) Contents are checked by Employer/Employee representation in the country. Apprenticeship examination and master craftsman´s examination graduates receive a certificate (decorative certificate upon request).

Procedure in special cases 1)if no social partner is available in the country -> then discussion at the EU Secretariat level, obtaining further information (e.g. Ministry declaration,...) 2) if, however, SP is not a member at EU level -> support by CEU and/or UNI members, documents in English and discussion at EU level

Procedure in standard cases 1)Delivery of documents to Member States (CEU and UNI Europe) 2)Confirmation by social partners of the countries to CEU/UNI 3)Applications and/or confirmations are handled in the respective next SD session whereas the confirmations of the social partners are sent via and in original to the following address and/or postal address )With the confirmation by CEU and UNI Europe, the social partners of the respective countries receive an access code for certificates (decorative certificates and EHC certificates). 5)Key date: Certificates can only be issued to any person who was confirmed to have completed the examination in the year in which certification by CEU/UNI Europe was issued. 6)The respective countries are responsible for the issue of certificates as well as the granting and administration of registration numbers (e.g. NL-C ).
