Nataliia Rovna Supervisor – Pavel Nazha English Supervisor – Victoriya Kuzmenko HIGH-PRESSURE CEMENTATION FOR BUILDING INDUSTRY OF DNEPROPETROVSK

The method of high- pressure cementation is one of the newest methods of soil strengthening of building properties used as the footing under the building or construction foundation.

 Weak soils  Soils with slumping characteristics  Silted soils  Salted soils  Bulking up soils  Soils, created by emission of natural soil materials or industrial wastes

 Low durability characteristics,  Raised deformability,  Low bearing ability,  Heterogeneity of the bases properties  Low durability characteristics,  Raised deformability,  Low bearing ability,  Heterogeneity of the bases properties

 Absence of dynamic influences on a ground  Possibility of building in the conditions of territorial limitation  The given method can be widely applied at the reconstruction of buildings and constructions  Elimination of the slumping properties of the soils  Work possibility in above and below level of ground waters  Possibility of correction of possible lists of buildings and constructions

 In Dnepropetrovsk practically the half of all territories is unsuitable for building(because of grand number of gullies )  The soils of Dnepropetrovsk in the majority of cases are weak and loessial. Such a kind of soil possesses specific properties, the increased deformability and low strengthening properties

 Constant population upsurge in our city  Shortage of habitation  Necessity of reconstruction of the majority of buildings and constructions  Method of high-pressure cementation can be used for strengthening or reconstructional purposes with all kind of problematic soils that are inherent to Dnepropetrovsk  Constant population upsurge in our city  Shortage of habitation  Necessity of reconstruction of the majority of buildings and constructions  Method of high-pressure cementation can be used for strengthening or reconstructional purposes with all kind of problematic soils that are inherent to Dnepropetrovsk

 Informing building experts about advantages of the given method. That will allow to eradicate idea that the given kind of building properties transformation of the grounds takes place only at application in the soils with high level of filtration  Usage of high-pressure cementation at proper financing will allow to reduce the price of building process of high-rise buildings  State intervention in creation of recommendations for the choice of technological parameters of process will simplify the usage of this method

Absence of dynamic influences at reconstruction of historical monuments will allow to keep the architectural values of Dnepropetrovsk. Being nontoxical, the forced solutions solve a reconstruction and building ecological questions

 The high-pressure cementation because of its relative simplicity and multifunctionality of process will help to reanimate building industry of our region  Clearness and financial availability of the given method will allow to improve financial and investment inflow to our city  The further research of the given method of strengthening of the footings in the future will allow to solve problems with the occurrence and the expansion of gallies of our city
