Heritage Night Heritage Night Festivities TimeActivity 5:45 – 6:00 Set up If you are bringing a dish or a display. 6:00 – 6:45 A Taste of Highland Sample foods from around the world in our cafeteria. Each person will receive one drink and one plate. 6:00 – 7:45 Cultural Displays created by our Highland families will be shown in the LMC. 7:00 – 7:45 Students Showcase songs and dances from their culture in the cafeteria.

Students can: Sing or play a song from your culture Read a cultural poem Demonstrate your language Tell a story from your culture Perform a cultural dance Families can: Bring a dish to share – Bring a copy of the recipe if you wish Wear cultural clothes Create a cultural display – Share an artifact or special heirloom – Showcase a family tree – Share information about your culture Heritage Night!!
