China’s natural resources and development Done by; Alicia Claire Tan (1) Archana G(2) Audrey Zheng Yi (3) Cailyn Chiah (4)

List of China’s natural resources Mining, processing, and selling zinc concentrate, iron concentrate, micaceous iron oxide powder, gold silver, copper, sulfuric acid coal. Iron ore

List of China’s natural resources Natural resources in general Petroleum natural gas, mercury, tin, tungsten, antimony

List of China’s natural resources manganese Molybdenum Vanadium Magnetite Aluminum Lead Zinc Uranium hydropower potential (world's largest)

China’s resource potential Has a multitude of mineral reserves and holds a reputation as one of the largest producers of antimony, zinc and tungsten in the whole world. Many countries depend on goods supplied by China.

China’s resource potential Largest potential for hydropower out of any other country in the world. Numerous mountain ranges with quickly flowing rivers and tributaries add to this potential. If this potential is realized, hydropower can prove to be one of China's most valuable natural resources. If hydropower was harnessed at such a volume as to provide for other neighboring countries, many could benefit from China's success.

Development indicators First and foremost, China is considered to be the rising superpower in the world Between 1980 and 2007 China's HDI rose by 1.37% annually from to today

Development Indicators

Conclusion Because of China’s abundant natural resources it has a relatively high level of development and if its resources are made best use of, this can prove to be economically benefically.
