Overall Goal Plan and implement a needs assessment in partnership with selected nursing programs representing diversity in educational offerings, geographic region, student body and faculty. 2

Purposes of ESWSFI  Reviewing existing faculty staffing challenges across Maryland by program level  Investigate current efforts aimed at managing staffing challenges in Maryland  Explore additional solutions while managing all data in a central location.  Gain a broader understanding of regional similarities and differences in the shortage of nursing faculty and preceptors  Build bridges for collaborative problem-solving 3
