Minotaur Each year seven boys and seven girl are put into Labyrinth to be eaten by the Minotaur.
Hydra The hydra was a fearsome monster from Greek Mythology. It was a giant snake with nine heads.
Hydra The problem was that if you cut off one head more heads would quickly grow back. The most heads she's ever had was more than nine heads.
Hydra Hercules slew Hydra as one of his Twelve Labors. Each of the Twelve Labors of Hercules is a story and adventure all to itself. The king did not like Hercules and wanted him to fail. Each time he made the tasks more and more difficult.

Charybdis Charybdis was a sea monster that took the shape of a giant whirlpool. Any ships that came near Charybdis were pulled down to the bottom of the sea.
Charybdis Ships that passed through the Strait of Messina had to either pass by Charybdis or face the other sea monster Scylla.
Charybdis (Strait of Messina) The Strait Of Messina measures 3.1 km in width, though near the town of Messina the width is some 5.1 km, and maximum depth is 250 m.
