A Cloud!!!!!  If you have a cloud for number one you are correct!!!!  Henry and his friends formed a cloud in the sky, and when the cloud became too full, Henry was released in some form of precipitation where he once again reached land.

Henry in the Clouds!  Today’s lesson is going to focus on Henry’s time spent in the clouds.  Henry doesn’t always become the same type of cloud, and today you will learn just what kind of cloud he can become.

What is a Cloud???  Let’s see what you already know about clouds………. –In the space provided for number two, tell Miss Eldridge everything you know about clouds….. –For example you could tell me, what they are made of, what color they are, how they form, and so on. –Now that you have told me everything you know click to the next slide.

Clouds Are………….  Now I’ll let you know what I have learned about clouds…. –Clouds are made of water. –They can either be made of liquid water drops or tiny pieces of ice. Pretty cool huh?!?! Now lets continue by clicking to the next slide……..

How Many?????  Lets take a guess. In the space provided for number three, write down how many different categories you think scientists group clouds into.  Do you have your guess?? Click to the next slide and see how close you were……….

How Close Were You??  To find out the answer and learn a bit about each type of cloud, click the link below and explore…….  Hint: Pay special attention to the cloud classifications as you explore. Have Fun!!!!!  Hint: Pay special attention to the cloud classifications as you explore. What Did You Learn???  Let’s see what you can remember……… –In the space provided for number four write down the four main classifications of clouds.  Did you remember all of them???? –Click to the next slide to check and see……

Let’s Double Check!  Let’s go back to the website and double check your answers. –Also, look at question number five and once you get to the website fill out the chart to help you keep the different classifications separate.  Cloud Types: common cloud classifications Cloud Types: common cloud classifications Cloud Types: common cloud classifications

Whew, You’re Done!!!  Good Job!!!! I hope you had fun, I know I sure did!  Good Job!!!! I hope you had fun, I know I sure did!  Be sure to keep your worksheet for other fun activities we do in class, it will help!  For now look outside. What kinds of clouds do you see today???
