 The primary function of the Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) is to contribute to the enhancing of skills and enable skills development of both the employed people and those aspiring to be employed in their respective sectors.  The functions and responsibilities of SETAs are set out in Chapter 3, section 10 of the Skills Development Act, 

 The objective is to appoint a service provider to provide all CATHSSETA’s information Management services on the basis of a Service Definition and Service Level Agreements. In general all hardware, facilities and effort requirement to provide these services shall be provided and owned by the service provider.   CATHSSETA wishes to have a single point of responsibility for the delivery of IT and IT related services.
