Metrics

The Need for Technical Expertise The OTC does not have technical specialists so we found ourselves needing assistance with technology evaluations First attempt at outsourcing was to a “Technology Review Team” Made up of local scientists, University researchers, attorneys and entrepreneurs Was not effective because team did not have “skin in the game” Newt Hamlin of LGE Execs introduced himself to our office in an effort to help increase commercialization LGE Execs has a network of over 75 CEOs, Presidents, CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, CFOs, COOs, GMs, VPs, and Directors

Relationship Dynamics Send technology summary to Newt for his review Newt makes contact with his team member that has technical expertise in field of technology Provide feedback to TTU Opportunity rating (A-F) Anticipated Investment Anticipated Timeline Potential challenges Determine next steps Potential start-up?
