Characteristics of Life
What are the 6 characteristics of life? All living things are organized, respond to stimuli, grow and develop, reproduce, maintain certain internal conditions and use energy
How are living things organized? All life is made of cells. Cells are organized.
How do living things respond? All living things respond to a stimulus. Ex: your immune system respond to invasion of bacteria or virus.
What is growth and development? Growth- when number of cells increases or size of cell increases. Development- changes that occur in an organism. Ex: brain development, metamorphosis.
