Task Read the following statements and decide whether they are true or false. Then find a suitable quote from the novel which supports your answer. You should use the following format to answer in your jotter: - Write the statement. - This statement is true/false. - A quote which shows this is…. (quote/character/page number)

Example Statement: Jay is having this party because it is his birthday. Answer: Jay is having this party because it is his birthday. This statement is false. A quote which shows this is, “I’ve already told you that this thing was a) a celebration and b) a chance to get my slimy claws on Jo Anderson” (Jay, pg 16)
