The trade, restaurant and hotel industries are expanding rapidly and employing the greatest number of people. People employed in finance, property and business industries are also increasing. Unit 14:The changing occupations Retraining workers In 1992, the Labour Department set up the Employee Retraining Board. It provides retraining courses for those laid-off unemployees.
