5 mins to get to class – Run a mile? C’mon man! Consequences – 2 Lates = 1 Cut = 3 detentions – 4 Lates = 2 Cuts = 1 day ACS + Parent Conference – 6 Lates = 3 Cuts = 2 days ACS + Loss of Credit in that subject + Parent Conference TARDINESS

AT LEAST 1 WRITING SAMPLE PER MP – MAJOR ASSESSMENTS – DBQ PROJECT PRIMARY SOURCES NOT REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT TRIVIAL KNOWLEDGE (DATES AND STATS) – LEARN HOW TO CULTIVATE ARGUMENTS NOT AN ENGLISH CLASS, BUT MIGHT AS WELL BE

If a person uses an inappropriate word, that person will be required to write 10 sentences on a given topic or do a 3-5 minute presentation. – Failure to do so will lead to a write-up – Inappropriate words??? THE INFAMOUS CURSING RULE

At least 3 homework assignments each week I WILL COLLECT HW THAT IS LATE HOMEWORK

20 points: Entirely complete and turned in on time 10 points: Incomplete/ Turned in late 0 points: Neglected to turn the HW in or gave absolutely no effort POINT SYSTEM FOR HW

After the 5 th homework, the scores are compiled and recorded as a quiz grade. Example: 20(completed) + 10 (Late) + 0 (never turned in) + 20 (completed) + 10 (incomplete) = 60 HW CONTINUED
