Current W-P Monitoring Tool 

NEW FOR  AWI will conduct Monitoring for the coming year  Tool will be revised  Visits will begin in September and will monitor only the activity in PY  Only 12 regions will be monitored in the PY

W-P Monitoring  Employability Development Plan Service-must have EDP on file for 1 year. Can be paper or in electronic file. For REA, must have on file for 3 years and must be signed by participant and by CSR.  Job Search Plan Service-must keep on file for one year.

W-P Monitoring  Orientation service is an on-site session and cannot be mailed out.  “Job Fair” service – job fair must be attended by the job seeker. Cannot be a referral to a job fair. Check the roster for the job fair.  Job Fair must have One-Stop participation, i.e., One-Stop must be sponsor, co-sponsor.

W-P Monitoring  Job Search Workshop- must contain all these elements before it can be taken as a service- labor market information, application/resume writing, interviewing techniques and how to find job openings.  If workshop is broken up into segments, all these components have to be taken before you can count it as a job search workshop.  Monitors should ask for the agenda.

W-P Monitoring  Job Finding Club- a one to two week session that includes all Job Service workshop components and an extensive job search  If you change a registration to counselee, you must have a counseling service to back it up.  Resume assistance must be 2 way communication. Mailing out a brochure is not acceptable.

W-P Monitoring  Assessment Interview - When this service is provided by One- Stop Staff, documentation should be recorded in the OSMIS “comments” section or in the “notes” screen at the time of service entry.

W-P Monitoring  Addition of PREP W-P Monitoring, i.e. assuring that activities are being listed on the PREP part as well as the job seeker manage services screen.

One-Stop Monitoring  Assure that there is a person designated to do job counseling etc. for disabled people in each full service one-stop.
