NEW FOR AWI will conduct Monitoring for the coming year Tool will be revised Visits will begin in September and will monitor only the activity in PY Only 12 regions will be monitored in the PY
W-P Monitoring Employability Development Plan Service-must have EDP on file for 1 year. Can be paper or in electronic file. For REA, must have on file for 3 years and must be signed by participant and by CSR. Job Search Plan Service-must keep on file for one year.
W-P Monitoring Orientation service is an on-site session and cannot be mailed out. “Job Fair” service – job fair must be attended by the job seeker. Cannot be a referral to a job fair. Check the roster for the job fair. Job Fair must have One-Stop participation, i.e., One-Stop must be sponsor, co-sponsor.
W-P Monitoring Job Search Workshop- must contain all these elements before it can be taken as a service- labor market information, application/resume writing, interviewing techniques and how to find job openings. If workshop is broken up into segments, all these components have to be taken before you can count it as a job search workshop. Monitors should ask for the agenda.
W-P Monitoring Job Finding Club- a one to two week session that includes all Job Service workshop components and an extensive job search If you change a registration to counselee, you must have a counseling service to back it up. Resume assistance must be 2 way communication. Mailing out a brochure is not acceptable.
W-P Monitoring Assessment Interview - When this service is provided by One- Stop Staff, documentation should be recorded in the OSMIS “comments” section or in the “notes” screen at the time of service entry.
W-P Monitoring Addition of PREP W-P Monitoring, i.e. assuring that activities are being listed on the PREP part as well as the job seeker manage services screen.
One-Stop Monitoring Assure that there is a person designated to do job counseling etc. for disabled people in each full service one-stop.
