Abilities Charlie Chaplin had many abilities: Acting Composing Producing Directing Screen Play Writing

Early Life Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1899 in London England Both of his parents were renound Vaudeville Performers. Both his parents got severely sick, so he had to fend for himself. Him and his younger brother, Syndney, were forced to find an acting career.

Early Career He debuted in The 8 Lancashire Lads and that got him known as a great tap dancer. At 14 he played Billy in Sherlock Holmes. He started his career as a comedian on vaudeville. That took him to the U.S. in 1910 as a player in the Fred Karno Repitoire.

Late Career Charlie Chaplin wrote and starred in many shows. They include: “The Kid”, “Woman of Paris”, “Gold Rush”, “The Circus”, “City Lights”, “Modern Times”, “The Great Dictator”, “Monsieur Verdoux”, “Limelight”, “A King in New York”, “A Countess from Hong Kong”, and many others.

Appearance Charlie Chaplin wore a black bowler hat, a light brown bamboo cane, a bow tie, baggy trousers, a tight jacket, and big shoes.

Family Charlie Chaplin had four wives: Mildred Harris, Lita Grey, Paulette Goddard, and OOna O’Neil. His children were: Charlie J.R., Sydney Chaplin, Norman Chaplin, Geraldine Chaplin, Michael Chaplin, Victoria Chaplin, Jane Chaplin, Eugene Chaplin, Annette Chaplin, and Christopher Chaplin.

Misc. Information Charlie Chaplin was kicked out of the United States because the government didn’t know what type of government he believed in. His most famous role was A Tramp in the move “The Tramp”.

Death Charlie Chaplin died on December 25, IN 1977, he already had trouble speaking, and used a wheelchair, he died in Vevey, Switzerland. He was buried IN Vaud, Switzerland on March 1, 1978
