Halloween Fraidy-Cat by Abby Klein January Book Review by Alison

Halloween Fraidy-Cat Book Title: Halloween Fraidy-Cat Author: Abby Klein Illustrator: John McKinley Number of Pages: 96 Rating: WWWW

This book was about a boy named Freddy who was afraid of monsters, goblins, and freaky things.

He dressed up as a shark every Halloween night but every Halloween night he wore a different shark suit.

Then one day his friend Chloe invited him to her Halloween party at her house. Her house was even decorated as a haunted house, so it was a scary place for Freddy.

Then Freddy and his friends went through the haunted house and when they came out they played some games like bobbing for apples.

The school’s biggest bully came to the party too, and challenged Freddy in a game of bobbing for apples, and Freddy won the game. Normally the bully would have won because he has a big mouth, but Freddy got help from his friends and got encouraged to win.

I liked the book very much. It was an awesome book and I am glad Freddy ended up being brave after all. HAPPY HALLOWEEN
