A.S. Presidential Debate Group Evaluation By: Johnson Nguyen Jason Veggian John Palalia Dung Tran

As presidency elections Description At this debate both candidates exposed their feelings about why would they each be chose as A.S. presidents they both were asked questions such as their leadership style and the way they would handle matters if any wins, they both expressed themselves fairly well in those aspects but it would had been nice if they had done the same thing when Mrs. Shelton asked them to name a member of the board of supervisor that represent our district, or when she asked them who was the congress person of our area in those questions neither of them could not even guessed that meant a lot to certain voters and their reluctance about who to vote for

Positive and Negative Aspects Some positive aspects that we could see at this debate are that we clearly saw and heard each candidate’s opinions and ideas about how they will (if elected) handle matters at school. a major negative aspect is that neither of them knew any members of the board of supervisors.

Summary of Meeting Joe Joseph opposed childcare closure to control the budget lock of money. Also he likes to see and influence in things such as homecoming, battle of bands, Vietnamese club, haunted house, and neighborhood clean up. He encourages grant donations He has a 3.56 GPA as well as 16 hours available at the A.S. presidency During his past year as A.S president he learned how to ask for help. He wants to make sure nigh students get what morning students get. He is a registered voter. His leadership style is: he likes to get things done more like hands on type of thing, strong dedication more like leading by example. Joe says that he would not make someone do something that he would not do himself..

Rick Agreed to save childcare He likes the all clubs in campus, but he things that a better job has to be done in terms of publicity. He wants to advertise events in a better way so people attends decently He has written grants He has a 3.2 GPA He believes in activism, he may some times be ignorant and need help to bring up to speed Also his way of leadership is inspiring in the way that in order for people to do things they have to be inspired, and motivated
