This is a slide show showing how we grew our vegetables, how the process began and what we got in the end.

A little bit about our class We are in Year 1 and we are doing a science unit on what plants need to grow We are going to grow our own vegetable garden and use the food as ingredients in a ‘Healthy Lunch Day’

First things first We wanted to know how plants grow and what they need to grow So we started off by germinating seeds and making observations on what happened and what was needed in the process We took photos and also written observations

What’s Next Next we decided what we wanted to grow in our vegetable garden We ed a local school and asked them how the started their garden Then we made some plans We planted our seeds and watched them grow

Some Photos of Our Garden
