What is my programme ?

What is Mock Interview? - Our targeted students are third and fourth year students who will graduate soon. - Bring a real situation of job interview to all participants by having interview session with professional panels. - Expose some common mistakes that usually happened during job interview.

OBJECTIVE OF MOCK INTERVIEW To encourage student to communicate in English with confidence. To gives students the opportunity to learn new things and gain new experiences. To gives students a chance to gain valuable experiences and improve their soft skills in both planning and participating in the activities planned.

I did prepare materials to decorate the hall. I had prepared prizes for winners of interview session. I managed to book Dewan Serbaguna to carry out the workshop. Felo room and MEP room were the interview room. I was in charge on the layout of interview room and the hall for workshop. I comfirmed the booking of air- conditioner of the hall and parking lot of panels. I distribute the cleaning task of hall and interview room to all exco and AJK. A organisation is formed. In the first meeting of all committee, we discussed about budget of each unit needed. Exco special task was given the task to find suitable place for the activity. Planning for this project

How it is conducted? It is divided into two sessions. First session is workshop and talk about “Dos and Don’ts” during the interview session which is conducted by Dr. Noor. The second session is mock interview session that conducted by a group of interviewers which consist of a psychologist, UKM alumni, and a credible professionals( from JOBSTREET. com ) to bring the live situation during a job interview.

What I learnt ? Holding the pose of exco special task which means I have to be flexible in doing all kind of task, this make me can react fast when tasks given by director. Throughout this activities, I did further develop my self-developments such as leadership skills and communication skills as I work with people who everyone of them have different personalities.
