GEOGRAPHY My state is located in the southeast region of the united states. The highest point in my state is Britton Hill, it’s elevation is 345 feet. My state is bordered by Alabama and Georgia.

STATE CAPITAL The state capital is Tallahassee and it is located in the Northern area of the state. My state has a population of 15,982,378 people.

SYMBOLS The state bird is the mockingbird. The state motto is “In God We Trust.” The state nickname is The Sunshine State. The state flag is white with a red x across it and a symbol in the center. The state flower is the orange blossom.

FAMOUS PEOPLE FROM FLORIDA David Robinson is a basketball player for the San Antonio spurs. Fay Dunaway is/was an actress from Florida. Janet Reno is/was the Attorney General.
