Allison Phillips Period 1

 You can get any kind of help for just about any mental health disorder although the type of person you get to help you will depend on the disorder they trained for psychiatrists

 Psychiatrists and neurologists are people who are specially trained to find the problem, diagnose it then help you either themselves or to find another person trained to help for your mental disorder.

 Psychiatrists- a physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating mental disorder  Neurologist- Physician who specializes in detecting and treating organic disorders of the brain and nervous system since psychiatrists are medical doctors they can prescribe medications to treat mental disorders

 For example….. If a person got into a really bad car accident, or hurt in some other physical way, a neurologist would come and observe that person to make sure they didn’t develop some type of trauma or other mental disorder

 Dr. Perry is a psychologist who specializes in teen psychology. She has gotten a call from a family who's teenage daughter shows signs of bipolar disorder. After talking to members of her family and talking to the daughter herself Dr. Perry has concluded and formally diagnosed her with bipolar disorder

In my topic, it explains what psychiatrists do and how they help you. It explains they can help get through any mental disorder. They are also eligible to diagnose and prescribe medications.

MMy section was about how psychiatrists work and what they can do to help with a mental disorder. It explains what a neology does and how they help, they also detect mental disorders before they get too bad
