3 TYPES of RIGHTEOUSNESS UNRIGHTEOUS UNRIGHTEOUS SELF-RIGHTEOUS SELF-RIGHTEOUS RIGHTEOUS RIGHTEOUS

Righteousness Denotes someone who is in Covenant

COVENANT A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT; A COMPACT OR AGREEMENT UNDER SEAL, MORE THAN A CONTRACT – IT’S VALIDITY IS AUTOMATIC IN A COURT OF EQUITY. A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT; A COMPACT OR AGREEMENT UNDER SEAL, MORE THAN A CONTRACT – IT’S VALIDITY IS AUTOMATIC IN A COURT OF EQUITY.

Court of Equity 1) Whole area of law based on fairness 2) NO TECHNICALITIES 3) Each case is singular and specific 4) Sentence based solely on judge’s discretion 5) Prevents irreparable damage 6) Statutes, ordinances or past judgments don’t matter

GOD’S JUDGMENTS (DECISIONS OR SENTENCES) ARE BASED ON THE RULES OF EQUITY …NOT THE RULE OF LAW!!

Time Line OF Equity ADAM forfeits Man’s EQUITY (4000BC) ADAM forfeits Man’s EQUITY (4000BC) NO DEFENSE AGAINST ACCUSER Moses believes God, obeys, COVENANT is reestablished, LAW given as a DEFENCE against ACCUSER in GOD’s Court (1500 BC) Moses believes God, obeys, COVENANT is reestablished, LAW given as a DEFENCE against ACCUSER in GOD’s Court (1500 BC) Jesus comes, completes the COVENANT started with Abraham, buys back Adam’s forfeited EQUITY ; Becomes DEFENSE ATTORNEY for all that have EQUITY & are in COVENANT (33 AD) Jesus comes, completes the COVENANT started with Abraham, buys back Adam’s forfeited EQUITY ; Becomes DEFENSE ATTORNEY for all that have EQUITY & are in COVENANT (33 AD)

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 1. RIGHTEOUSNESS acts upon the person, (forcing him to do what conscience requires). 2. RIGHTEOUSNESS will not suffer a wrong without a remedy (healing, restoration, betterment). (RIGHTEOUSNESS abhors a forfeiture of rights.)

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 3. RIGHTEOUSNESS imputes (credits) an intention to fulfill a covenant. IT’S YOUR INTENTIONS THAT COUNT INTENTION: an anticipated outcome that guides your actions an anticipated outcome that guides your actions

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 4. RIGHTEOUSNESS acts specifically, and not by way of compensation or settlement. GOD HAS ALREADY JUDGED IN YOUR FAVOR – IF YOU GET ANYTHING LESS, IT IS BECAUSE YOU SETTLED!!

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 5. RIGHTEOUSNESS regards as done, that which ought to be done. (RIGHTEOUSNESS abhors a forfeiture of rights.) If God says something, He considers it “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”! (And he hates it if you forfeit his favorable judgment)

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 6. RIGHTEOUSNESS requires him who seeks RIGHTEOUSNESS to do RIGHTEOUSNESS. If you endeavor to obtain equity you have to commit equity Commit: to invest & to tie up as to make unavailable for other purposes to invest & to tie up as to make unavailable for other purposes

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 7. RIGHTEOUSNESS regards the beneficiary (heir) as the real owner.

Romans 8 16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs (gk. – co-equal heirs) with Christ;

Titus 3 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;

Titus 3 7 That being justified (gk. - vindicated) by his grace, we be (gk.- ‘I pronounce you man and wife’) made heirs according to (gk. - by means of) the hope (gk. -confidence) of eternal (gk.- perpetual) life (gk.- Zoë). Being vindicated by His favor, we are pronounced heirs. How? by means of the confidence that comes from the instantly & constantly renewed life of God. Being vindicated by His favor, we are pronounced heirs. How? by means of the confidence that comes from the instantly & constantly renewed life of God.

Heir n. Anyone who acquires property upon someone’s death which is based upon the rules of descent and distribution. It can refer to anyone who receives something from a will, but usually refers to the child, descendant, or other close relative of the deceased. An heir cannot be identified until the person leaving the property dies because the heir apparent may pass away first. Upon adoption, a legally adopted child gains the right to be an heir as if he/she were the natural child of the adoptive parent or parents and is referred to as an adoptive heir.

Galatians 3 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Galatians 3 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. What’s the promise?

Romans 4 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

Romans 4 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Galatians 3 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

Inheritance n. The money and/or property received upon a relative's death due to the laws of descent and distribution when a will does not exist. Commonly, the term "inheritance" refers to anything received from an estate of someone who has died, whether by the laws of descent or as a will or trust's beneficiary.

Inherit v. Upon an ancestor's death, the receipt of all or a portion of the estate pursuant to the laws of descent. Typically from a parent or other close relative. The term "inherit" technically means that a will did not exist, but commonly means any taking from a relative's estate regardless to the existence of a will.

Psalm What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall He teach in the way that He shall choose. 13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. 14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Proverbs 8 12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions (hb.- keen & edgy plans). 12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions (hb.- keen & edgy plans). 13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. 13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 8 14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. 14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. 15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. 16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

Proverbs 8 17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. 17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. 18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. 18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

Proverbs 8 20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Ephesians 5 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Ephesians 5 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath (losing sentence/judgment) of God upon the children of disobedience (gk. –aptheia). 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath (losing sentence/judgment) of God upon the children of disobedience (gk. –aptheia).

Galatians 4 1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. 2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Galatians 4 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: 4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Galatians 4 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
