2 God’s Time and Our Time  God’s time is different from our time.  Can we use the word “time” with God?  River illustration  Motion picture illustration  We live a life in time filled w/ decisions.  God is outside of time. Therefore, His decisions are eternal decrees.

3 What Time Do You Have? John 7:1-10 The Time of Jesus Christ  Jesus, the inhabitant of eternity, is now living in time.  The time (or times) of Jesus were fixed.  Galatians 4:4,5  Revelation 13:8  1 Corinthians 15:3  Acts 2:22,23; 1 Peter 1:18-20

John 7:1-10 The Time of Jesus Christ  Conclusion #1  The death of Jesus, the most important event in His life, was planned & determined by God.  Details of Jesus’ life were also planned.  When Jesus came to earth, He was conscious that the events of His life were marked out for Him by God.  Everything planned by God and revealed in the scriptures has been accomplished.

7 What Time Do You Have? John 7:1-10 A Fixed Time Schedule  Jesus’ brothers were on the world’s time which yielded no meaning to their lives other than what they could give to it.  Jesus was on God’s time which filled His life with meaning and purpose.
