underlined Examine the underlined words in each sentence, and use context clues to predict the meaning of the words.

Parts of Speech Review  Noun-names a person, place, thing, or abstract idea.  Pronoun-replaces a noun.  Verb-expresses the action of the sentence or state of being.  Adjective-describes a noun.  Adverb-describes a verb-usually ends in “ly”.
