Start low (you can always increase). Never start high (you can never go lower). Reward your best affiliates with a commission that is higher than your posted default.

Don’t enable alternate purchase links on your site that result in lost affiliate commissions. Don’t add multiple “Buy Now” links within your installer that may result in sales not being attributed to the affiliate. Let your affiliates know that you WANT them to be successful. At the same time, if an affiliate is cheating you…disable their account. If your affiliates are successful, then you will be successful.

Most common questions : Answer: Results will be different depending upon your product and how much time you put in to the program. But at RegNow, 30% of all revenue is the result of the affiliate program. Question: How much time should I spend every week on the affiliate program? Answer: In the beginning, you will spend your time recruiting affiliates and generating no sales. Later however, if 30% of your revenue is expected to come from affiliates, then 30% of your time should be spent managing the program.
