PTA Newsletter MAY/JUNE 2013 St. Stephen’s School Volume 5 Issue 5 Saturday June 1 st 11am to 2pm !!! Our biggest school event and fundraiser is just around the corner!! The Spring Fair is returning with the ever popular Cake Walk, Lucky Numbers Game, BBQ, Smoothie Bar, Cranberry Spa and the Cranberry Bog Cafe including a showcase of the talents of our St. Stephen's students. We invite all interested performers either as individuals or small groups to participate, using the attached form to sign up. Please return form by Tuesday May 28. You can sing, perform a musical instrument, recite poetry/jokes or perform a small skit. Performances should be no longer than 5 minutes. For the Spring Fair to continue to be a success and a fun time for the kids we need volunteers and donations. Please refer to the Spring Fair circular for more information. To thank all our Spring Fair volunteers this year we will be entering the names of all volunteers in a draw to win a $30 iTunes gift card. So please help out!! Every parent/guardian of a child who attends St. Stephen's is a member of the PTA. We have a loyal group of volunteers and always welcome more people to become involved in whatever way that you can. This can be done by attending our meetings, volunteering at events or joining the PTA executive. Thank you to Maria Arsenault, Lisa Fougere, Amanda Smith and Kelli Bishop for your stellar service to the PTA Executive. Executive positions will be available for the school year, including Secretary, Treasurer and Vice- President. All executive positions require regular attendance at PTA meetings, time to complete PTA duties and volunteering at PTA events. If you are interested in running for the Treasurer position please phone our current Treasurer Lisa Fougere at for more information. The elections for this positions will be held at our June 11th AGM. Please come to our next meeting on May 14th to learn more about what the PTA does, help plan the Spring Fair and share new ideas.
