17 TH CENTURY In the 17 th century the “Magic Lantern” was created. It was a early type of image projector. “Magic Lantern”
1832 It begin in 1832 when Joseph Plateau invented the Fantascope, or “spindle viewer”, that simulated motion.
1839 In 1839 the Zoetrope was created by William George Horner. It had the same principle of Plateau’s “spindle viewer”, but pictures were combined with slots into a rotating drum. “Illusion Toy”
1877 In 1877 cinemas were born.
1878 In 1878, Edward Muybridge captured a galloping horse, proving that all the horse's feet were off the ground at the same time. He did this by setting up cameras in the horse’s path, successfully capturing this. He called it, “Horse in Motion.” production-history “Horse in Motion”
1887 Thomas Edison creates the Motion Picture camera.

1891 In 1891 William Dickinson made, Monkeyshines No.1, the first motion picture ever made on film in the United States

1894 In 1894, Louis and Auguste created something that is a camera, recorder, and projecting device. They called it the Cinematographe.
1894 Thomas Edison’s Kinetograph camera was debuted in London.
