RISKS EX ANTE PPS STUDENTS: Students act autonomously in seeking hosting entreprises UNIVERSITIES: University teachers are not enough involved in organising the placement and therefore they are not able to monitor the experience ENTERPRISES: Deficiencies in matching entreprises’ characteristics and needs with students’ preparation and expectations

EUE-NET European University-Enterprise Network AMSTERDAM October 2008 RISKS DURING THE IMPLEMENTATION PPS University- Entreprise Incoherence between learning objectives and activities effectively carried on by the trainee Difficulty in sharing the learning programme contents by the entreprise and university tutors Disagreement on the period of placement Students Lack of pertinence of the competences to the activities proposed Difficulty in understanding the assigned tasks Absence of the University/enterprise tutor assistance on the overall procedure

EUE-NET European University-Enterprise Network AMSTERDAM October 2008 RISK EX POST PPS High risk to misunderstand the analisys of the two actors (student and enterprise) involved because the evaluation is often superficial and emphasizes quantity aspects like numbers of hours worked, punctuality etc.

(Formazione ed Innovazione per l’Occupazione) Programme promoted by the Italian Ministry of Work and Social Policies General Directorate for traning and orientation Main objective: To create a system for the for the enhancement of the accompanying measures to help graduates in entering the labour market, the development of university placement services, the integration between university research and transfer of technological innovation from universities to enterprises in order to increase the employability.
